Allons (To Go)

Drawing upon the tradition of plate lunches at South Louisiana grocery stores and gas stations, Bonne Terre occasionally offers family-size takeaway portions from its kitchen. Named after the French phrase meaning “let’s go,” Allons menu options are packaged in to-go pint and quart containers which can easily be frozen and reheated so you can stock up on your favorite dishes.

When seasonal, we also offer lagniappe options, such as homemade tasso, pickled vegetables, homemade preserves, pralines, and Cajun desserts.

Gumbo

Nothing says cold weather or the holidays like a pot of gumbo. A longtime Bonne Terre favorite, our gumbo (chicken, andouille, and tasso or crab and shrimp) boasts a rich brown roux and highlights Louisiana ingredients. Gumbo can easily be frozen and reheated so you can order before the holiday rush.

Apple Pie Moonshine

This homemade holiday tipple blends apple cider, cinnamon, and Louisiana cane sugar with Acadiana-produced J.T. Meleck vodka and grain alcohol. Our boozy homage to apple pie is best enjoyed neat or on the rocks. Great for gifts and holiday sipping!

Pecan Pie Moonshine

Inspired by one of South Louisiana’s quintessential holiday desserts, this smooth holiday sipper blends Steen’s cane syrup with Mississippi-based Cathead Distillery pecan vodka, grain alcohol, and a hint of coffee. This boozy interpretation of pecan pie is best enjoyed neat or on the rocks. Great for gifts and holiday sipping!

Mardi Gras Offerings

During Mardi Gras season we offer takeaway catering to bring a bit of Cajun goodness to your Carnival table. Whether on the parade route or at the pre- or post-party, we’d love to contribute something homemade and delicious to your gatherings with friends and loved ones.

Boudin King Cake

Let the good times roll with this decadent sweet-and-savory king cake. Our homemade brioche king cake is filled with Bourgeois Meat Market boudin and topped with a Steen’s cane syrup praline glaze, bacon, and green onions. Instead of the traditional baby, we include a plastic crawfish or alligator because this is a true Cajun king cake!

Since our Boudin King Cake contains meat, which is not shelf-stable, this is a frozen product that will need to be reheated. We provide reheating instructions as well as glaze and toppings for at-home assembly. Contains nuts (pecans).

King Cake Moonshine

This parade route favorite blends cinnamon, vanilla, and Louisiana cane sugar with Acadiana-produced J.T. Meleck vodka, grain alcohol, and apple cider. This boozy adult king cake beverage is best enjoyed neat or on the rocks, whether at home or on the parade route.
